With advancements in material science, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) hot-melt adhesive films are revolutionizing bonding processes in footwear and leather manufacturing. Operating within a low-temperature activation range of 110-130°C, this material enables rapid bonding while overcoming the limitations of traditional solvent-based adhesives, delivering multidimensional performance enhancements.
Utilizing dynamic crosslinking technology, TPU films achieve substrate lamination within 30 seconds under 0.5-1.2MPa pressure, exhibiting peel strength of 8-12N/cm (EN 13934). Compared to conventional chloroprene adhesives, they improve curing efficiency by 40% and reduce energy consumption by 35%, making them ideal for automated production lines.
Hydrolysis Resistance: Maintains >90% bond strength after 72-hour water immersion (ASTM D870), ideal for waterproof footwear;
Thermal Stability: Passes -30℃ cold bend test (SATRA TM148) and 120℃ thermal aging without delamination;
Chemical Tolerance: Resists pH 3-11 detergent solutions (ISO 2812-2 certified).
